Crop Swap NEV
Crop Swap NEV happens on the last Sunday of the month at the Valley Project, at 3pm.
Visit our online group (www.facebook.com/groups/cropswapnev) to share things you have in abundance in between our monthly crop swap events, share tips and learnings about things you've collected at the last crop swap, or just stay up-dated about any Crop Swap NEV news or upcoming events.
All welcome.
So what is a crop swap?
Bring along things you have in abundance - from your garden or your kitchen! You don't need to be a gardener to participate - one or two things to share are plenty! Some examples to get you inspired:
fresh baking, homemade dips, relishes or jams
pickles, preserves, sourdough or kombucha starters
seeds, seedlings, bulbs, plants, cuttings or fresh flowers
eggs or homemade cheeses
honey
gardening books, planting guides or cook books
excess garden produce or herbs
bottling jars, egg cartons ...
so many possibilities for sharing!
We come together as a connected, resilient and supportive community to share what we have and learn from one another.
Bring your curiosity for growing or producing healthy, local kai.
Everything is free. No money exchanges hands. We give generously and take mindfully.
Each person takes home anything they bring that is left over at the end of the crop swap.
