Directory

Welcome to the North East Valley Community Directory - a website directory of businesses and community organisations in the Northern end of Dunedin city.  This directory serves as a free public resource that empowers community engagement, building connections across our corner of the earth consisting of Opoho, Normanby, Upper Junction, Liberton, Pine Hill, Dalmore, and of course, North East Valley.

How to use the directory: Browse through all the alphabetically organised listings page by page, or narrow your search by clicking on one of the below categories. If looking for a specific business or organisation, type its exact name into the provided search field.

How to be a part of the directory: Hover over the Directory tab in the main menu at the top of this page. Click on the drop-down menu item Log-in/Sign up. Fill in the form, then submit your details. A Valley Project staff member will follow up as soon as they can. Or simply click here to take you directly to the form.

Valley Kai

Valley Kai's aim is to increase Food Resilience in the Valley.

A resilient community can withstand the adversity that life throws at it, whether it's a community-wide response to natural disasters or pandemics that disrupt food supplies, or individual household support during financially and emotionally trying times. We all need access to nutritious, fresh, local food to be a resilient community.

We've been thinking about how we can make our entire community's access to this food more secure. How can we make it easier to raise, produce, share, and sell local food?

The following are some of the Valley's continuing local food initiatives:
